Plot summary
In Beaune, in Burgundy, a jazz festival brings a crowd into the town, among them Jean, a police commissioner, Nadia, a journalist, Antoine and Marianne de Vidas, Paul and Nathalie Richer, Stéphane, a taxi driver, a tax auditor and the president of the court. Each of them stands at a crossroads in life, and each has private hopes and a side they keep hidden. Before any of them takes a place as a judge, an attorney or a jury member, they are simply men and women living through the festival. Twelve tales of intimate conviction form around them and lead to a thirteenth.
