Sean offers his smart home to his college friends for their annual vacation getaway. They arrive and settle in, then discover the house will not let them leave. A virtual assistant speaker, the Simon box, runs the home, and it is the Simon box holding them inside. The only way out it offers is to play the twisted games it sets.
