Plot summary
Candace Livingstone is the daughter of Liz, the lifestyle mogul whose company Candace hopes to run someday. Candace has never met the standards Liz sets for her. A young girl posts a video asking Liz to arrange a Christmas party, and Liz sends Candace to handle the request instead. Candace sees the request as a chance to prove she is worthy of running the company one day. She meets the girl's uncle, John Ryan, a reporter at work on an expose, and begins to fall for him while she works on the party and tries to live up to her mother's name.
