Jodie Sweetin

Jodie Sweetin, born in Los Angeles, has worked as an actress, television host, and stand-up comic. Her earliest screen work was in national commercials, among them one for the restaurant chain Sizzler in 1987, and she had a guest part on the sitcom Valerie. Jeff Franklin then chose her to play Stephanie Tanner on Full House, the ABC sitcom, a character she played from age five until the series ended in 1995. She later reprised the part for the Netflix sequel Fuller House, which finished after five seasons in 2020. Other credits include hosting the Fuse dance competition Pants-Off Dance-Off, the television pilot Small Bits of Happiness, and the docu-comedy Hollywood Darlings. She competed on Dancing with the Stars in 2016, finishing sixth, and in the 2020s turned to stand-up comedy, performing and hosting shows around California; she cites Bob Saget as an influence.
