Plot summary
Elvis Presley arrives in Washington in December 1970 with one request for the White House: a meeting with President Richard Nixon. His friend Jerry Schilling comes with him. Presley tells the staff that the Bureau of Narcotics and Dangerous Drugs should take him on as an undercover agent, and that he opposes drug use and the hippie movement, along with SDS and the Black Panther Party. Two aides, Dwight Chapin and Egil Krogh, arrange the meeting. Nixon takes the request to be a publicity stunt and is annoyed by it, but the two men sit down together in the Oval Office.
