Echoes (2014) on Netflix

Plot summary

Anna Parker is a writer whose blog and screenplays have her career moving forward. Sleep paralysis has grown severe enough to keep her from working, and the pills she takes do not hold it back. Her boyfriend, Paul Wagner, who is also her agent, wants to help, so he brings her to his glass house, which stands alone in the desert. He heads back to the city for his job, leaving Anna to rest and write. At the house, the paralysis grows stronger and the visions that accompany it turn frightening. Things happen around the house that she cannot explain, and it appears that something is trying to reach her.
