Plot summary
Novella McClure is a struggling actress in Los Angeles. She is in her early thirties, and the fake name she uses sounded cooler ten years ago. She has not won a role in three years. She has also started eating her own flesh, a condition that disturbs her. She tries to hide it from Eesha, her motherly landlord, and from Candice, her somewhat psychopathic best friend. Failed auditions and sketchy night clubs fill her world, and her body and mind keep deteriorating.
