Plot summary
Twenty-four and pregnant, Gia has two children, Trey and Shaynah, in foster care. Money is tight and child support payments have been missed. She stays quiet in her parenting classes, and she weighs handing her unborn baby to another family. Her friend Trina objects, saying a mother has a God-given right and duty to raise her own children. Gia meets Paul and Monica, who have a daughter, Amber. They speak about the college plans that ended with her son's birth and about the different dreams she has now. She likes the three of them.
