Trailer
Plot summary
Stephen Grace, a cinema student, will not drive after his brother died in a drunk-driving crash; he takes the bus instead. He befriends Quaid, who has been visited since childhood by nightmares about his parents' deaths. Quaid proposes a project that records people describing their greatest fears, and Stephen takes it as the chance for an original thesis. Cheryl joins them as editor. Among the students they approach is Abby, who works with Stephen in the library and dreads being shunned for the birthmark that covers half her face. Quaid presses the interviews toward real trauma, revealing his own only after a nightmare.
