Plot summary
Romania is in the middle of a civil war, and no one may leave Bucharest without military approval. At a checkpoint, two French soldiers arrive with a bloody body; the driver says attackers with big teeth, not rebels, hit them outside the city. Out on the road, Uffizi and Luke meet procurers who capture people to sell as food to the nosferatu. Luke frees their prisoners, and the procurers destroy the car, so the two continue on foot. In the first town they reach, every inhabitant is dead, and that evening, near a downed helicopter, they come across the reporter Julia Hughes and her cameraman Tommy.
