Diane Neal

Biography

Diane Neal is an American-Israeli actress known for her work in television. Born in Alexandria, Virginia, and raised in Littleton, Colorado, she left college to model for Shiseido and Pond's before moving into acting. She made her first Law & Order: Special Victims Unit appearance in a third-season guest spot as a rapist, then in the show's fifth season took over as Casey Novak, an assistant district attorney, playing the part from 2003 to 2012. After leaving at the end of season nine, she returned for a 2011 episode and later had a recurring part in season thirteen. She also appeared in the NCIS franchise as Abigail Borin, an agent with the Coast Guard Investigative Service. In 2021, she appeared as Peggy Sue Thomas in the Lifetime film Circle of Deception.
