Don't Be Afraid of the Dark (2010) on Netflix

Plot summary

Sally, eight years old, comes to Rhode Island to live with Alex, her father, and his girlfriend Kim, who are renovating Blackwood Manor. Her mother left her in Alex's care and gave her Adderall. A tune from a nightlight wakes the creatures in an ash pit. Voices call Sally's name, and she finds a sealed fireplace with runes that warn her to be afraid. She unbolts it and finds teeth. When a tooth she puts under her pillow goes missing, a 19th-century silver coin is there instead. The creatures turn hostile toward the family, and Alex holds Sally responsible.
