Plot summary
Rodrick Heffley teases his younger brother Greg relentlessly as a new school year begins. With Susan, Frank, and Manny away for a weekend vacation, Rodrick throws a party at the house. Greg invites Rowley over to help set up, and Rodrick locks them both in the basement before the party starts. The pair get out, and Rowley runs home. Susan calls to say that the family is coming home early because Manny has a stomach bug.
