Plot summary
Edward Barnes's funeral takes place at the family home, where his older son Aaron lives with his wife Michelle and his parents. Ryan, Aaron's younger brother, has published a successful book and arrives on a first-class ticket, while Aaron works as a tax accountant and has yet to finish the novel he is writing. The funeral home first brings the wrong body. Elaine, a cousin, and her fiancé Oscar collect her brother Jeff on the way, and Elaine hands Oscar a pill from a bottle marked Valium to calm him. An unknown guest asks to speak with Aaron.
