Plot summary
David Cooper, a retired Marine, and John, his brother's best friend, are at a bar talking about David's life when men nearby insult Vivian, David's wife, who reports the news on television; David fights them. John invites the couple to the Virgin Islands to bring his yacht back and suggests David see a therapist. David dismisses the idea and drops his pills in the sink. Vivian comes home from work and mentions the invitation; that night David tells her they can go. On board, John shows them around the yacht. He keeps asking David about the war, and David says he would rather not discuss it. David also notices how closely John attends to Vivian.
