Trailer

Plot summary

Blaise Starrett helped found Bitters, Wyoming, and makes his living from cattle there. He has no patience for the homesteaders who have settled nearby and strung barbed wire to keep their stock from wandering. His anger is aimed at Hal Crane, who brought the fencing and who married Helen, whom Starrett loves. Helen has warned him that killing her husband would end any hope of her love, and he means to do it anyway. Before that happens, a former Army captain named Jack Bruhn rides into town with a band of rogue cavalrymen. The gang holds Bitters hostage while Bruhn, wounded in a bank robbery, receives treatment, and Starrett searches for a way to save the town.
