Plot summary

Julia Jones hopes to marry Napoleon Dynamite, who turns her down even in her dreams. She writes in her diary that she may never find her true love, and her attempts to charm men on the streets get nowhere. At her father Frank's Greek diner she is drawn to Grant Funkyerdoder at once; when Frank shouts an order at her, she spins around and accidentally strikes Grant with a coffee pot, sending him to the ground. She later finds his table empty and thinks he left. The love therapist Hitch agrees to help her, and at a garage she is made slimmer. Hitch helps her win a place on a reality dating show, The Extreme Bachelor: Desperate Edition.
