Plot summary
On the Gold Coast, American drifter Zephyr has left the rest of her life behind to surf. She reluctantly helps Moses, a real estate agent, start his car; the two bond over surfing and spend a night together, and she drives off alone to catch waves that night. There Tucker, who runs a shark cage attraction from his boat, abducts her. She wakes in a room, chained to a bed, where Heather, a tourist taken on a cage dive, is also held. Moses finds no sign of her at the beach the next morning, and when her van is towed he begins searching for her. Heather tells Zephyr that Tucker holds them prisoner aboard the boat, out at sea, with no one able to help them.
