Plot summary
The device Sarah Thurston builds works on mental frequencies, and it frees the Daemon inside her, which becomes her guide and her adviser. Sarah researches human consciousness and is traumatized, and she is pulled both by a need for revenge and by a search for redemption. She embarks on a series of vengeful killings aimed at those she counts as her enemies.
