Plot summary
David Morgan and Kathy have been out on two dates and kept their biggest secrets to themselves. The third one is meant to be the intimate evening, and both arrive with advice in their ears: Bruce Gaynor has coached David, Nancy has coached Kathy. Neither can say the thing that matters most. David has just lost his job and cannot bring himself to admit it. Kathy is raising a daughter, Jessica, and believes the truth would send him away. Each tells a smaller lie instead, and the smaller lies need covering, and the night does not go as either of them planned.
