Plot summary
Brooke is an orphan who grew up moving through foster homes, and she is now a creative, hard-working student at the nation's top fashion school, where she hopes to become a designer. A grandfather she had never heard of has died and left her his estate, along with the family business: a crime family that has been trying to leave its criminal past behind. George makes contact and helps her take charge of it as the new boss. Candace is a rival designer. Sal Hugo, a competing mob boss, wants the family's territory. Marcus is a handsome man Brooke has a crush on.
