Darryl Hinds

Sketch comedian and actor Darryl Hinds is Canadian, best known for the Royal Canadian Air Farce and its New Year's Eve specials, which he joined in 2014 and stayed with until the troupe's final one in 2019. Born in Canada, he began in stage roles with the sketch group Electric Boogaloo before joining The Second City's Toronto company in 2007, where he appeared in Facebook of Revelations, a Second City revue. Next came the 2008 revue Barack to the Future, where he played Barack Obama in several sketches, and 2009 shows such as Shut Up and Show Us Your Tweets. He later took part in Mass Hysterical: A Comedic Cantata, a 2020 webcast teaming Second City alumni with the Toronto Symphony Orchestra. On television he has had guest and recurring roles in several Canadian series, and he starred in Overlord and the Underwoods (2021), earning a Canadian Screen Award nomination in 2022 for his comedy acting.
