Plot summary
Jerry, an elderly civil servant, tells his younger colleague Shane that he should do more with his life. Shane instead moves into a flat in Limerick with Vincent, a fashion student who is gay and intends to move to New York to start his own line. Vincent coaxes the tightly wound Shane to loosen up, and the two become close friends. Shane is drawn to the clubs and the freedom of Vincent's circle, a contrast to his desk job. He also gets caught up in a drug run that goes wrong, and his life begins to slide out of his control.
