Plot summary
Grace Fario is an English doctor. Her younger brother, Michael Fario, was a priest. He died in a fall at a convent on the Scottish island of Skye, and the Church says he took his own life. Grace does not accept that account. She travels to Scotland to learn what happened to her brother and what the convent is hiding.
