Plot summary
Diana Shaw is a flamboyant and ruthless thief who lives next door to Evie Kawalska, a young woman who has come to Malta to spend a vacation in her stepfather's house. Diana seduces her, and Diana also wants to know what the vault in that house holds. Evie comes across as innocent, and her past is a troubled one. Both of them are foreigners on the island. When a killer dressed in leather murders men on Malta, the two women become suspects in the case.
