Plot summary
A year after his girlfriend left him, Simon Peters has one subject on his mind: finding a new one. He is 29 and works as a clerk in a phone shop. His Croatian cleaner keeps trying to find him a partner, and his attempts to strike up conversations with women in clubs come to nothing. Then he walks into the coffee shop he dislikes above all others, and there he sees the woman he is sure is the one; in his head she is already the mother of the children they would have. Winning her heart is another matter, and he has no idea where to begin.
