Berlin Calling (2008) on Netflix

Plot summary

Martin Karow, a Berlin techno DJ and producer known as Ickarus, travels the world's clubs with his girlfriend Mathilde while finishing a new album for release. To keep working and partying day and night he takes drugs, most of them from his friend Erbse at Berlin clubs. One PMA-containing ecstasy tablet sends him into a drug-induced psychosis, and he ends up naked in a Berlin hotel, where his behavior draws the staff's notice. He is brought to a psychiatric clinic in Berlin, putting the record and his scheduled shows at risk. There he meets other patients, among them Crystal Pete and Goa Gebhard. The head doctor, Dr. Paul, advises a break from music and touring to recover under her care, and tells him the stay is voluntary. He agrees and has his equipment moved into the clinic.
