Plot summary
Alan Baker works at the artificial-fruit company his father owns, but he treats the job as a sideline to a bachelor's life in the city. His younger brother Buddy, bored with living at home, moves into Alan's apartment. Alan is happy to train him: he takes Buddy's wardrobe in hand, shows him a few tricks and introduces him to Peggy, a young woman with an apartment upstairs. The woman Alan sees most steadily is Connie, and she is running out of patience with a man who shows no interest in settling down. The brothers' parents are Harry R. Baker and Sophie Baker.
