Plot summary
Samantha Forester is abducted in Hollywood by a man known as Coffin Baby, also called the Toolbox Killer. He brands her and locks her in a cage, and there she is forced to watch as he murders dozens of other people from Los Angeles in brutal and varied ways. She is reported missing while she remains in his keeping, and ten days pass with her a captive. Her escape looks hopeless, and outside forces she cannot explain press on her harder than the killer himself does, so what she has left to survive on is her will, her strength and her faith.
