Plot summary
Sam Carlson works in close protection, and in South Sudan she brings two journalists she is guarding out of an attack on their vehicle by insurgents. Zoe Tanner, the troubled heir of the late tycoon Eric Tanner, learns that her father's shares in Hassine Mining are now hers, which angers her stepmother Rima Hassine, who has taken over as chief executive. Rima, who is finalizing a phosphate mining deal in Zambia, wants Zoe to travel with her to the family kasbah in Morocco and hires Sam to guard her for the trip. At the fortified kasbah, intruders get past the security system, which locks the property down with everyone inside.
