Plot summary
Dan Duncombe pulls espresso at a café, runs to stay in shape and spends his free hours at home, avoiding anything that would tie him down. Then he wakes from peculiar dreams to find cryptic words on the window of his bedroom. Some force he cannot name is pushing him toward a scattered set of strangers, all of them unattached, and they start showing up in his day. He gets drawn into their lives.
