Plot summary

Angelina Costa has been a Latina pop singer and songwriter since her teens, and people in their twenties in the industry imply she is not keeping up. Barry, at her record label, wants a Christmas song from her before a gala on Sunday. After a panic attack, she pulls her manager Monique into an unplanned drive north to meet Cristina Torres, a teenage fan who has wished to meet her. A location tag on a cover video Cristina posted leads Angelina to the local high school, where Cristina's father Miguel teaches music. A snowstorm moves in, and the family asks the two women to dinner, then to stay until the roads clear. The singer and the teenager learn that each has recently lost her mother, and dinner talk turns to Ricardo, a soap star Angelina has been seeing.
