Plot summary
Alison Wentworth arrives at Camp Hurrah with her cheerleading squad to train for the all-state finals, and she shares a cabin with Cory, the team mascot, whom both the cheerleaders and the head coach, Miss Tipton, mock. Alison's boyfriend, Brent, flirts with a blonde teammate named Suzy. When the girls sunbathe at the river, Tim, a member of the team, spies on them, and Sheriff Poucher watches too until the camp handyman, Pop, interrupts him. The next morning she finds Suzy dead in her cabin, and the police are called to the camp. Her dreams of the competition keep returning, and they turn brutal.
