Lucinda Dickey

Lucinda Dickey is an American dancer and actress who grew up in Hutchinson, Kansas, and started dancing at four in her mother's studio. She later attended Kansas State University as a dance major. After relocating to Los Angeles in 1980, she earned a scholarship to study dance at the Roland DuPree Dance Academy. Ten months later, she was among the lead dancers for Grease 2, and in the fall of 1982 she danced on Solid Gold. Her first leading film role came in Ninja III: The Domination, which premiered in 1984, the same year she played Kelly, a jazz dancer turned breakdancer, in Breakin' (1984) and Breakin' 2: Electric Boogaloo (1984). She next played the mascot in Cheerleader Camp (1988). She acted onscreen for the last time in the 1990 Perry Mason television film Perry Mason: The Case of the Defiant Daughter, and in 2008 she was a dance judge on the TLC series Master of Dance.
