Did you know?!Facts and trivia about Charlots Go to Spain (1972)
Can contain spoilers, watch the movie first.
- The bullfight sequence was shot with a real bull, but trained doubles replaced the animal in some shots — including the moment the torero tries to finish it off with his sword and bangs into its head, which was fake.
- Bernard Ménez went to the film's shoot in Marbella to watch prop man Michel Sunnet at work, preparing for his own part in François Truffaut's La Nuit américaine.
- In the wedding-meal gag, the pretty Spanish woman pours a whole bottle of wine into Phil's glass; the level plainly drops at moments because the wine was emptied through a hole under the table.
