Plot summary
Two rabbit contractors, Botasky and Packy, operate in the Middle East from a helicopter-mobile base that stays well back from the fighting. Packy holds the spotter's post and leads the team; Botasky works the rifle. Their assignment is to extract two captives, one an ally and one a local, from a village held by camel fighters. Word comes that the situation is turning bad fast, and the pair weigh their orders: pull the captives out themselves, or hold and wait for more support. They settle on going in, splitting the work. Packy moves into the village to find the prisoners while Botasky takes over-watch with his rifle.
