Plot summary
Australia is recovering from a season of bushfires, and Bailey, who is trying to get a start in documentary work, heads into the outback with two conservationists, Grace and Ben. Their project is to track and film the animals the fires pushed out of the bush, on land the government is weighing up for development, and the pair hope the footage will help keep the forest as it is. They carry good equipment for the trip. When darkness comes, the group encounters something not on their list: a predator descended from a species thought to be extinct, and before long the three of them are the ones being followed.
