Plot summary
Melinda is the attendant on the graveyard shift at a gas station. Billy parks a stolen vehicle outside and walks in carrying a concealed handgun. Officer Liu arrives and talks with Melinda, and while he buys coffee she takes his picture. Her coworker Sheila catches her, and Melinda drops her phone, cracking the screen. Liu comforts her before an alert calls him away, and Sheila forces Melinda to show her the photos. Back from a break, Melinda finds Billy robbing the store and demanding cash from Sheila.
