Plot summary
By 2018 Detroit has walled off Brick Mansions, a neighborhood where crime has overwhelmed law enforcement, closing its schools and hospitals and monitoring everyone who crosses the 40-foot barrier. Inside, Lino Duppre has stolen and destroyed heroin belonging to Tremaine Alexander, who runs the drug trade there, and men are hunting him. A police officer, Damien Collier, is sent into the neighborhood undercover. Officials have learned that Tremaine holds a nuclear device and a small missile, and he threatens to launch it into downtown Detroit unless the city pays him. Damien's assignment is to get Lino out so the two of them can destroy the weapon.
