Plot summary
Eve is held in a basement with her leg chained to the floor, where Phil brings a meal he has cooked. She hits him with a brick, finds the keys, unlocks her own chain and chains his leg instead. Outside she finds only empty land and no one to help, and the van will not start without its keys; the phone in the house does not work either. Searching for the keys, she comes upon a revolver and a folder of photographs of girls with their names, her own among them, and learns she is not Phil's only victim. Bathed and dressed in his clothes, she returns with the revolver and asks where the other girls are. He tells her four remain and offers a trade: he shows her the girls, and she takes him to a hospital.
