Plot summary
In Queens, New York, Alfred "Boogie" Chin is a basketball phenom, and his goal is a place in the NBA. His parents, traditional East Asian, push him in another direction: a scholarship to an elite college. He has to balance their pressure with his own goal while getting through high school, a new girlfriend and rivals on the court, with the burden of expectation on him.
