Plot summary
Jennifer Dupree has lost her father in an accident in the Boggy Creek area of Texas, and she asks several friends from college to join her at the cabin he kept in the woods. The group plans to stay a week. People who live nearby warn them about creatures in the forest, animals said to resemble Bigfoot, and about the legend that has grown up around them: the creatures kill the men they find and carry the women off.
