Blue-Eyed Butcher (2012) on Netflix

Plot summary

Susan Wright seems to have a storybook life in Texas: an adoring husband, Jeff, two children, and close family and friends. Six years into the marriage, in 2003, Jeff is found dead and buried behind the couple's suburban home. Police accuse Susan of premeditated murder, saying she lured Jeff into the bedroom, tied him up and stabbed him. Susan mounts a defense, saying she killed him to protect herself and her children after what she describes as years of physical and mental abuse. Prosecutor Kelly Siegler is skeptical of that defense.
