Plot summary
Louise, Abby and Sarah were close as children and have drifted apart since. Sarah organizes a camping weekend on Black Rock, the island off Maine where the three once spent time, hoping to bring the group back together. Abby and Louise have barely spoken since Lou slept with Abby's boyfriend years ago, and the two argue as they search the island for a time capsule they buried there as kids. That first night on the beach, the women meet Henry, Derek and Alex, three veterans who are on the island to hunt. Louise knows Henry as the younger brother of a schoolmate, and Abby asks the men to join their camp. Abby drinks and flirts with Henry, who makes a move on her.
