Plot summary
With World War II nearing its end, Operation Valkyrie is readied to kill Adolf Hitler, and a separate Allied mission aims to pull the German officer meant to lead postwar Germany out from behind Nazi lines. American and British special forces handle that extraction, and four commandos under Captain Evan Blackburn are given the job of retrieving the man. Their aircraft is shot down, leaving the unit in enemy territory. When the attempt on Hitler fails, the commandos join Russian and German resistance fighters to keep the surviving Nazi officers from escaping to Argentina and rebuilding the Fourth Reich.
