Plot summary
The mutated creature Don Ramon Lopez goes on a rampage aboard the ship taking Dr. Bill Foster away from Blood Island, and the vessel explodes and sinks. Don Ramon washes ashore back on the island and vanishes into the jungle. Foster is the only other survivor; he spends months in a hospital and then sails back to the island. Reporter Myra Russell is on the same crossing, investigating the explosion. On the island the villagers live in fear, convinced the old Lopez mansion is cursed, and the headman Ramu and the ship's captain join Foster and Russell in searching the house, where they find Razak alive.

- To promote Beast of Blood, the producers printed fake $10 bills that folded in half to reveal an ad flier for the film, then scattered the phony money across the neighborhoods nearest the drive-in that was showing it.
- Eddie Garcia played the mad doctor Dr. Lorca in Beast of Blood because actor Ronald Remy, who had played the part in The Mad Doctor of Blood Island, did not return.
- Producer Kane W. Lynn expected to win the distribution rights to John Ashley's next horror film, Beast of the Yellow Night, but Ashley's own company financed it with director Eddie Romero and instead signed with Roger Corman's New World Pictures, leaving Lynn out entirely.
