Plot summary
During the Mexican Revolution of 1916, the American Wilson arrives at a hotel in a Mexican town while a battle rages. His suitcase is full of Mk 2 grenades, and he tosses a few at the Regulares in the square, which lets Colonel José Escobar and his rebels drive them off. The rebels nickname him El Alacran. Wilson offers to bring guns and ammunition to Escobar's ill-equipped men if he gets half of whatever they seize, but Escobar strikes the next town on his own and comes back beaten. Wilson then tells him that Kennedy, a dealer from the United States, is bringing a large consignment to General Lorenzo, and proposes capturing him. Wilson is also attracted to Kennedy's wife, Lisa.
