Plot summary
A crash lands two astronauts, Pete Burke and Allan Virdon, in the far future of Earth, and apes capture them. Galen, a chimpanzee, befriends the men and frees them. Their goal is a way back to their own time, and their one lead is a computer in a city threatened by earthquakes that should still hold the records of their flight.
