Did you know?!Facts and trivia about Avida (2006)
Can contain spoilers, watch the movie first.
- The film is a tribute to Salvador Dalí: its title alludes to "ávida dollars" ("eager for dollars"), an anagram of the artist's name coined by surrealist theorist André Breton to document Dalí's increasing celebrity status in the United States.
- At the end of the film a hand holds a watch in front of the camera so that it hides the billionaire's face, and the final scene, the only one in colour, features a painting reminiscent of Salvador Dalí.
