Plot summary
At Rebelle, Alice Lantins is in line for the editor-in-chief's chair, and her stiff image is what blocks her. Flying home from Brazil to Paris, she leaves her flash drive on the plane. Balthazar Apfel, an architecture student, finds it and calls her. At the bar where he sits with friends, he says the device is at his home and drives her there on his scooter. As he fits the spare helmet over her head, two colleagues see them from an angle that looks like a kiss, and their photo goes up on Twitter. The next morning the office laughs, but Vincent Khan, her boss, likes the idea of Alice with a man twenty years younger. Alice decides to pretend she is in love with Balthazar to win her promotion.
